![]() ![]() Cecilie HolenTrondheim, Oslo, NorwayDanish, English, Norwegian, Swedish Since I began to do The Work of Byron Katie in 2001, my deepest experience is the growing distance beween my stressful thoughts and who I know myself to be. I’ve recognized that these stressful thoughts are— in their innocence—doing the best they can to ”organize” reality. Undoing these concepts through The Work leaves me to meet any situation with more clarity, efficiency and trust in my response to it. I have applied The Work to issues like living without a partner, living with a partner, self judgments, financial issues, heritage, creativity, organizational changes at my former workplace, and establishing a new business. Since 2002 I have been in private practice as a family counselor and mentor to people in personal or career transition. I consider The Work to be a very efficient, clean and structured process for self understanding and I use it almost exclusively in my practice. I also offer evening and weekend groups and daytime workshops in The Work on specific issues, such as self destructive thoughts, money and fear of change.
