Sarah Thompson

Salt Lake City, Utah, US
English

Before The Work, my life was a wreck and I was ready to end it. I had suffered from severe depression since childhood and was chronically suicidal. I believed I was hopelessly defective and blamed it on my parents. I suffered from depression, eating disorders, other forms of self-abuse and self-sabotage, rage, chronic disabling pain, and was about to leave my husband. I was trapped inside a self-imposed prison of stressful thoughts.

Today, I love my life and my marriage just keeps getting better. My relationship with my parents is healed. This doesn't mean I live in a state of eternal bliss, or that I never get depressed or angry, but rather that I can identify and question my stressful thoughts using The Work. I still experience occasional pain and I rarely "suffer" from it.

I am a retired physician with specialties in emergency medicine and psychiatry. I enjoy doing The Work on all of the above topics, as well as crisis intervention, conflict resolution, relationship improvement, clear communication, pet loss and other animal-related issues, LGBT issues, and working with artists and other creative people.

I am available to do The Work with people anywhere in the world via Skype or phone, as well as in-person Work in the Southern Utah, Northern Arizona and Southern Nevada areas. I work with individuals, couples, groups, and businesses, and will customize workshops and individual or couples retreats to meet your needs. Retreats are held at my home in near Zion National Park. Workshops can be held here, or at a place of your choosing.

I invite you to experience the life-changing power of The Work, and would be honored to work with you.
