Living and Dying

September 11 - 12, 2010
Northampton, MA, USA

Fear of death and of life brings anxiety and stress until we bring these thoughts to inquiry and question our thinking. We invite you to join us for a weekend of questioning your stressful thoughts, and through The Work offer yourself the opportunity to embrace life, living, dying and death.

About The Presenters:

Lee G

Thom H

"Thank you both so, so much for the wonderful workshop. The space, the provisions, the "vibe," the unconditionality, quality of listening, gentle, quiet receptivity and teaching, respectfulness, the helpful simplification of the introduction to The Work step by step, the clarifying of what is the basic essential Work, the patience, humor, all of this made this workshop an absolute joy and a deeply constructive and undoing day for me. I come out of it feeling new, a ton lighter, happy more deeply, ready to open and eager to offer the same invitation to others... inspired to learn and practice, and at peace - without even trying. What a gift. You are both priceless. Looking forward to next time."
–Martha

"The workshop was as clear and easy as could be. I hesitated to ask my husband to come since he has never done anything like this in all his 67 years.

"At the end of the workshop he told me that he felt completely at home. No big deal. It all felt seamless and natural, like 'horse sense' are his words.

"As a couple we are now using The Work on a regular basis. Before the workshop this seemed as probable to me as moving to the moon.

"Thank you Thom and Lee for making The Work so accessible and attractive. We're hooked! Suffering is optional."
–Judie
