Loving What Is:
The Work of Byron Katie in Maryland

September 24 – 26, 2010
Easton, MD, USA

“When you become a lover of what is, the war is over.”
-Byron Katie

What is it you think you need in order to be happy or at peace? What would end your suffering? Fill in the blank: “If only I had _____¬, I would be content.” You may have answered “a partner,” ”a good job,” “my health,” “more money,” “friends,” “enlightenment,” “my mother’s love,” “my father’s approval.” What happens to your life when you can’t seem to get that thing you think you really need? When you lose it? When you actually have it, but fear you might lose it?

In this weekend workshop we will investigate the thoughts, beliefs, and stories that prevent us from experiencing profound joy and peace right now. We will move deeply into the process of Inquiry to realize what is really true for us, despite what we may have believed all of our lives.

If you are experienced in The Work, this workshop will allow you to bring a clearer awareness to your core beliefs about the nature of peace and happiness, and to question them from different angles.

If you are new to The Work, this workshop will allow you to experience the four questions and turnarounds, to discover the answers that are true for you, and to open your mind to new possibilities and perspectives.
